JAke Watching Birds is an autobiographical journal centered around my quest to photograph 10,000 of the world’s bird species, something that's never been done before.I have an insatiable urge for adventure and the unknown.
I’ve been stalked by a polar bear while photographing.I quit a job making six figures in six months, because God told me to.I drove to Alaska with $1000 and a dream.I’ve jumped out of a plane to open my spirit and feel what it’s like to fly, and I got two tattoos in Tijuana on my 28th birthday, just because I thought it sounded cool.searching the world for new birds is the only way I feel alive.
Every bird is a new adventure, another reason to live, another reason to wake up, another reason to come on.
